The process of getting hired with us moves quickly. We aim to be as transparent of an employer as we can, and trust that you’ll do the same as an applicant and potential employee. As is the standard, all hourly employees undergo drug screening and a criminal record check. We pride ourselves on safety and these extra steps help us to ensure we hire the right people to join our WCS team.

To ensure happy, healthy and motivated employees, we are proud to offer a competitive benefit package here at WCS. Our employees’ premiums for Health and Dental coverage are paid for by the company. The company also contributes to a Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan for our employees’ eventual retirement and offer the ability to participate in our Group RRSP so you can rest assured your future is taken care of.
Waste Control Services’ commitment to our team members goes well beyond compensation and benefits. We believe in supporting our employees in their career choices and we do this by offering tuition reimbursement for costs associated with upgrading skills. Many drivers for example who join Waste Control Services come onto the team as entry level Class 5 Drivers. We have reimbursed for employees seeking to acquire their commercial licenses.
