International peace day was established by the United Nations and was first celebrated in 1982. It is a day devoted to keeping the peace and encouraging others to take a stand to keep the peace.
September 22, 2012 marks the first Earthball community festival at Inter River Park in North Vancouver.
WCS Recycling will be providing recycling stations to help try to achieve a 0% waste event as much as possible.
The festival will begin at noon and continue till 6pm, come out for some great food, entertainment and support a great cause.
