For the 2nd year in a row, WCS participated in the Salvation Army’s Annual Santa Shuffle Event. Thousands of people from many different organizations joined in on the fun run and walk, despite the bone chilling cold weather.
The warm up began with some fun dance moves and lively music and then began the race. Runners set off first making their way through Stanley Park, and walkers shortly followed behind. The finish line quickly filled up with many smiling faces and looks of accomplishment. There were even Santa inspired medals handed out!
Once the race was complete, everyone lined up for some tasty chilly and other healthy snacks. WCS employees assisted the participants by directing them on how to dispose of their remaining bowls, spoons and other waste.
The event was yet again another great success and WCS would like to once again thank the Salvation Army for allowing them to be apart of such a great cause!
