For the 3rd year in a row, Waste Control Services participated in the Salvation Army’s Annual Santa Shuffle Event! Despite the unsavory weather, thousands of people turned out to participate in the 5km run and 1km walk through Stanley Park.
WCS had employees participate in the festivities and volunteer to provide the waste collection services. WCS provided sustainable recycling options for plastic bottles and containers as well as organic materials like leftover chili, compostable bowls, and napkins.
