December 29, 2012 marked the 3rd annual Boxing Day where WCS donated all red bag sales to the Canucks Place Children’s Hospice.
Canuck’s Place is known as a global leader in pediatric palliative care, where families can have all year around care from nursing support
to school and music therapy and much more. The program believes that everyone should “embrace life” and WCS was grateful to help.
Although it was a cold day, it was a great turn out; donators were greeted with some hot coffee and sandwiches after
dropping off their wrapping paper and other recyclables.
The red bag sales raised a total of $640 dollars to the Children’s Hospice Society.
WCS would like to thank all those on the lower mainland who came out to support our great cause.
