Recycle Provincial Election Signs With WCS!

Soft plastic election signs to be recycled

Following the BC Provincial General Election, Waste Control will be accepting soft plastic and coroplast political candidate signs for recycling at our North Van Depot.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY (9am to 3pm)

SATURDAY (10am to 3pm)

1493 DOMINION ST, NORTH VANCOUVER

Party office members and residents of the North Shore are welcome to drop-off their signs at our North Vancouver location. Soft plastic and coroplast components only please, we cannot recycle wooden sign parts. This will be a free community service and optional cash donations to benefit the Harvest Project will be gratefully accepted.

Signs can be dropped off at our depot which is open Monday to Friday (9am- 3pm) and Saturday (10am- 3pm). The depot is located at 1493 Dominion Street, North Vancouver.

  1. Is there a place closer to the Cariboo where these signs can go. We have 350 with wire supports.

      Sorry we do not know about recycling options in your area. You can check with the Recycling Council of BC on their website (https://www.rcbc.ca/recyclepedia/search) or you could call their hotline at 1.800.667.4321.

      To increase the likelihood of being able to find someone to recycle your signs I would suggest separating the soft plastic (sign material) from the metal supports. That way you should be able to find a place that at least takes the metal. Hope you find a recycling option!
