Sherwood Park Elementary hosted a great Carnival event this year with a focus on zero waste. A part of that goal was to be able to re-purpose all the empty chip bags, thanks to WCS. Sherwood Park and WCS hope zero waste events like this will provide a big step toward educating people on recycling, reducing garbage and leaving a smaller carbon footprint at large events!

Upper Lynn is having our annual carnival on Fri June 2 – I am the recycling queen and aim for zero waste also and would love to collect the chip bags like this also!! Are you guys doing anything special for schools? How do we do this also?
